Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a New Business Development Manager. One of our most important criteria is passion for what you do, and the industry as a whole. Of course platform experience plays a role, but with the right aptitude and passion anything is possible!

Job Scope:

  • Analyse the South African market to identify potential clients for our existing services, while also identifying new opportunities and services to take to market. 
  • Work closely with the Head of Consulting and Paid Media to sell Sprout’s media and consulting services to new clients; medium and large organisations.
  • Manage P&L of sales targets (consulting and media) and compile quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
  • Lead pitches for new business, supported by relevant team members.
  • Represent Sprout at tactical industry events.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Look at opportunities to cross sell media buying and consulting services across new and existing clients.
  • Work closely with the senior management team. 


  • Existing and extensive network of potential clients who are decision makers in their businesses. 
  • Existing relationships with pitch consultants in SA.
  • Deep understanding of all Google Marketing Platform and their value propositions. 
  • Proven experience selling marketing technology (martech) solutions to medium and large clients (previous Google Marketing Platform sales experience a decided advantage); 
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, entering leads and moving them through the sales process.
  • Outstanding skills creating and delivering impactful sales presentations.
  • Analytical, articulate and an excellent communicator.
