Changes to global privacy laws and various browser updates have resulted in a number of tracking gaps in analytics data collection. To help solve  these challenges, Google developed Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to replace Universal Analytics (UA) and announced that all standard Universal Analytics properties will stop processing new hits on July 1, 2023. GA4 makes use of first-party data and cookie-less signals to provide a reliable and trustworthy data source, whilst also using machine learning to surface key insights.  To make the transition from UA to GA4 reach out to the Sprout Analytics team.
